Assistant or Associate Professor
The Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences at Harvard University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant or associate professor level (untenured). We seek exceptional scientists and educators who investigate and interpret the rock and life record to reveal earth history and earth processes. Applicants in the broad area of geology, earth history, and geobiology, who are able to bridge disciplines and make connections among the solid Earth, Earth's surface, and life are particularly encouraged.

Post-Doctoral Associate-Climate Dynamics
The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University invites applications from prospective postdoctoral fellows in climate dynamics. Applications are invited from candidates with a recent Ph.D. in physical oceanography, atmospheric sciences or related fields to join climate dynamics research activities. The position is for one year, renewable to two. Successful applicants will be involved in research projects from paleo climate to ENSO, thermohaline circulation, and more. Undergraduate Research Assistant
Research opportunity at the Seismological Laboratory within the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. Possible projects include comparison of geology and seismic data in Japan, and search for continents/oceans in the Earth's deep interior. Assistant should be an enthusiastic student with interest in Earth, data analysis, and computer programming. Previous computer programming experience would be desirable, but not necessary.
